The forest fire that broke out in La Penuela, municipality of Moguer (Huelva, Andalusia) on 24 June, was declared as being under control since 09.45 AM local time. All sheltered people have been allowed to return back.
According to the European Forest Fire Information System (EFFIS), fire danger forecast for the area remains "high" on 27 June.
The Copernicus Emergency Management Service was activated by the Spanish National Authority for Civil Protection and Emergencies on 26 June at 14.38 (UTC).
Over the next 24 h, dry conditions, temperatures cooling down (with maximum up to 28°C on 28 June in Moguer) and moderate winds are forecast for the area affected by forest fires.
