Heavy rain has been affecting the central, eastern and southern areas of the country, causing floods and landslides. Approx. 223 mm of rain in 24 h have been recorded in Rupike (Masvingo province) over 26-27 February.
As of 28 February at 7.00 UTC, local media reported one death in Bikita District, several houses destroyed and traffic disruptions.
