Uganda – Congolese refugees in Uganda

  • In the past five weeks, a total of 7 091 people received assistance at reception centres, the majority at Hoima district level in Western Uganda.
  • In total, 46 600 Congolese refugees have sought refuge in Uganda since January 2017.
  • There are currently 242 406 Congolese in Uganda and the country is hosting in total 1 398 991 refugees.
