  • Heavy rain over 8-9 October in Mallorca (Balearic Island, Spain) caused flash flooding.
  • According to local media, as of 10 October, five people have been killed, two in Sant Llorenc, one in Arta and two in S'illot. Five more people are reported missing in Sant Llorenc municipality.
  • Over the next 24 hours, more heavy rain and thunderstorms may continue to affect the Balearic islands, including areas already affected.
