Malaysia - Flash floods in Malacca

- ECHO Daily flash of 10/07/2019

  • A number of districts in Malacca have been hit by floods. The number of flood victims in on Monday 8 July rose to 1,391, including 318 families, up from 1,149 victims (260 families) on Sunday.
  • Two schools are closed as they are being used as temporary evacuation centres to house those affected by the floods.
  • Evacuees are steadily returning home according to the Malacca civil defence force.
