Severe weather, including heavy snow and rain, has affected the south-west of Jammu and Kashmir State (central-northern India) over the past few days, triggering snow avalanches and resulting in casualties.
Two people were killed and two others injured by a snow avalanche on 22 January around 10.00 UTC in Trigam Village (Ramban District).
Over the next 24 hours, the weather is forecast to improve.
