The fires declared on Sunday afternoon in Corsica and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence have been controlled. Good weather conditions are forecast.
However, fires remain in Ville-de-Paraiso (1600 hectares burned) and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (240 hectares burned). In Ville-de-Paraiso, 130 sappers, two Forest Fires Intervention Groups, two Canadairs and two trackers have been mobilised. The fire is now stabilized. In Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, more than 300 firefighters, Forest Fires Intervention Group and a Support Group have been mobilized. Both fires are stabilized.
