Heavy rain has been affecting south-western areas of the country causing flash floods.
According to local media, as of 26 September, seven people have been killed and five are missing after flash floods in Periban City (Michoacan State).
Over the next 24 hours, moderate locally heavy rain and thunderstorms may affect several areas of Michoacan, Chihuahua, Durango, Sinaloa, Jalisco, México State, Puebla and Oaxaca.
