Heavy rain has affected central-western Colombia over the last week, triggering floods and several landslides which resulted in casualties and damage.
As of 4 December at 8.00 UTC, at least three people were killed in Calarcá Municipality (Quindío Department) due to a landslide. In addition, around 300 families were affected by floods and landslides across Guatape, Bello and Copacabana Municipalities (near to the Medellin area, Antioquia Department).
Over the next 24 hours, the weather is forecast to be drier.
